Dr. Thomas Royer has more than 45 years of healthcare experience as a clinician, clinical leader, physician leader, physician executive, and ultimately health system CEO. He is presently one of three partners and CEO of Royer-Maddox-Herron Advisors, a health care consulting firm providing multiplicity of services for healthcare providers as well as organizations tied to the healthcare industry, including employers. 

Following surgical residency and two years serving with the U.S. Navy, Dr. Royer held various leadership roles with Geisinger Health System, including Sr. Vice President and Medical Director. After serving as CEO and President of the Johns Hopkins Medical Services Corporation, Dr. Royer joined Henry Ford Health System as SVO for Medical Affairs and CEO of the Henry for Medical Group. For more than thirteen years, Dr. Royer led CHRISUS Health as its founding CEO. Today, Dr. Royer applies his career experience and expertise as founding partner and CEO of Royer-Maddox-Heron advisors, an advisory services firm providing management and operational consulting to leading healthcare organizations.
