Internationally-acclaimed talk show host, author, and motivational-speaking giant Johnny Wimbrey lives by one rule: Don’t let your past determine your future. Living a real- life “G to Gent” story, Wimbrey continues to inspire and change the lives of corporate execs and inner city kids alike.

After enduring a challenging road and some dispiriting experiences, Johnny managed to dramatically turn his life around and has become one of the most inspirational speakers of our time. Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, and dealing with the split of his parents at a young age, Johnny learned early on that the only person one can truly rely on is oneself. Forced to fend for himself, he looked to the streets and began an involvement with drugs and gangs. The murder of a close friend served as an eye-opener to Johnny and made him decide that it was finally time to “flip the switch”.

With a fresh new outlook and his mind set on success, Johnny set out to reinvent himself, only to learn that significant change did not come easy. Having come from a past with more hardship than opportunity, he found that finding a new career would be a challenge. However, Johnny’s determination to succeed surmounted the struggle, and he soon landed a successful career in insurance and credits. His new career gave him a stability that he had never experienced, and more importantly, was a product of his own hard work and genius.

Johnny continued to excel in the insurance business and began spreading his knowledge to new recruits. It was during this time that he realized that he had a remarkable capacity to speak. After much pursuit he began launching his seminars in 2000, which focus on discovering the psychology of success and the traits of a winning mind-set. Since then, Johnny’s goal has been to inspire others with the success secrets that his own life has proven to work. In the last year, Johnny has spread his life-enhancing words to audiences around the world, speaking in London, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Amsterdam, Israel, The Virgin Islands—a list that continues to grow. Johnny has travelled over 170 thousand miles internationally to speak!

In addition to speaking Johnny has written the best-selling book, “From the Hood to Doing Good”, an inspirational work that motivates people to put past pains behind them. Johnny’s work has inspired people with a wide variety of struggles to make the positive decisions that have led them to significant life changes. In addition to his book, Johnny has co-authored “Multiple Streams of Inspiration” and “Conversations on Success”, both of which inspire greatness. Johnny also anchors a powerful DVD collection called “Think and Win Big”, which offers mental strategies and gives profound insight into the kind of wisdom needed for success. Johnny recently launched a new magazine entitled “Success University”, which highlights inspirational stories to motivate people.

When not out spreading world-shaking words of wisdom, Johnny is a loving father who enjoys spending time with his family, riding his Harley, and like any true Texan, watching football.
