Jonathan Lovitz Speaker Biography
Jonathan Lovitz is one of the nation’s top speakers and trusted experts, dedicated to helping governments, corporations, and nonprofits build stronger, more inclusive economies. In February 2023, President Biden appointed him to the U.S. Department of Commerce as part of the senior leadership team at the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). In that same year, Jonathan was named to the OUT100: artists, disruptors, educators, groundbreakers, innovators, and storytellers who all helped make the world a better place for LGBTQ+ people.
Previously, Jonathan served as Senior Vice President & Special Advisor at the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), where he led efforts to pass more than 25 bipartisan state and local laws and authored multiple federal MOUs. His work has helped unlock billions of dollars in economic opportunities for small businesses, including those owned by minorities, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs.
In addition to his public service, Jonathan is the Founder & CEO of Lovitz Strategies, a consulting firm specializing in public policy, DEI strategy, and communications for corporations and NGOs. A recognized thought leader, he is a frequent guest on MSNBC, CNBC, NPR, and Bloomberg and has been a keynote speaker for organizations including the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA, the United Nations, and The Trevor Project.
