Glen Garrity Speaker Biography
Glen Garrity is a retired twenty-one-year Newport Beach (CA) police detective. During Glen’s career, he worked assignments including patrol, traffic investigator and burglary detective. He worked as a training officer, attained the level of master officer, and received two medals of merit for preventing two suicide attempts. In 2008, Glen was part of a group of NBPD detectives who arrested 8 people in an identity theft ring. The suspects used fake credit cards with matching fake driver’s licenses to steal over $1.1 million in products. This case was solved when one store trained its employees how to recognize fraudulent identifications. Based on the success of this case, Glen created G2 Safeguards. Glen has traveled throughout the USA educating industries how to recognize fraudulent identifications before they become victimized. Glen currently resides in Orange County, CA., with his wife Karen and two daughters.
