Tim Tebow speaking at Auburn University next week

College football analyst and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow will visit the Plains next week as part of a speaker series presented by Delta Air Lines.
“The Speaker Series presented by Delta is a monthly opportunity for all Auburn students to learn from successful leaders in their respective fields on topics related to the Emerge at Auburn program,” according to the university’s website.
Tebow is scheduled to speak at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 5-6:30 p.m. as part of the spring kickoff event for leadership programs at Auburn.
The free event also will include a leadership panel with Delta Air Lines executives.
A reserved section of seating will be available for Auburn University students who RSVP through AUinvolve.

The son of missionaries, Tebow attended the University of Florida, where he played quarterback and helped lead the Gators to two national championships. He was a first-round NFL draft pick, a professional baseball player and is a bestselling author.
His Tim Tebow Foundation sponsors a nationwide prom for people with special needs, provides care for orphans in four countries, adoption aid grants for families who adopt an international child with special needs, builds Timmy’s Playrooms in children’s hospitals, provides surgeries to children of the Philippines through the Tebow CURE Hospital and makes dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses, according to Tebow’s website.
Past speakers in the series include Chicken Salad Chick founder Stacy Brown, Delta Air Lines executive vice president and chief financial officer Paul Jacobson and former University of Tennessee football player, author and motivational speaker Inky Johnson.
