What does it mean to be fully alive in your work? Many of us are not yet doing what God put us here to do. Dan looks at the changing work models and outlines a plan for integrating your dreams and your passions into your daily activities. If you’ve ever buried your dreams in an attempt to be “practical” or “realistic,” Dan will show you how embracing those very dreams is the most practical way to enjoy life and achieve the success you’re looking for.
I have four key topics that are requested again and again. I can do these as a keynote (30-90 minutes) or as a workshop, along with half-day or full-day seminar versions. Presentations can be modified for 30-70 minutes.
Hold Fast to Dreams
Have you ever noticed that even if God allows you to identify your dream – you’re expected to work to make it happen? It seems that even when dreams are coming true – God requires our part in the process. This is one of Dan’s most requested presentations – get ready to release your dreams.
Wisdom meets Passion
Baby Boomers have relied on wisdom to pave the way to success. Younger generations today have relied on passion as the guiding principle for their version of success.Wisdom meets Passion will show how to blend the two – equipping you to accomplish your greatest financial goals, experience the thrill of fulfilling relationships, create meaningful work, and to complete your purpose and calling.
The Glory of God is Man Fully Alive
In this presentation, Dan unpacks our old views of work – and reveals the opportunities for proper matches in our work that birth a new sense of meaning and purpose. (Drawn from principles in 48 Days to the Work You Love)
Who are You and Why are You Here?
This intensive but enjoyable event addresses the most pervasive and recurring questions I receive daily – Who Am I and Why Am I Here? How can I know God’s call for my life? Can I trust my dreams and passions? And once I know my talents, dreams and passions, how can I integrate those into meaningful, purposeful – and profitable, work?
As a bonus option, I have often hosted a town-hall meeting after one of my keynote presentations.
No More Mondays
Here comes another Monday. Maybe feeling trapped is just the reality of the way things are. Doesn’t everyone dread Mondays? Doesn’t every responsible person just bury their dreams and passions in exchange for a paycheck? Absolutely not! Each of us can learn to bring the same excitement to our work that we bring to the most enjoyable weekend activities.

One of the biggest stresses facing young adults relates to their careers. When I was looking for someone to offer biblically-based career advice for today's young adults, I immediately turned to Dan Miller. Dan's expertise is deeply rooted in his faith and in the experience he has gained through his own career challenges. Though Dan's resources are inspirational, they go much further than that; they provide proven methods which, when applied to your life, will change the way you think about your career and the challenges you face. Dan is so sure that you'll benefit from his approaches that he even guarantees them-what more could you want?
Dan Miller is a gentleman, devoted family man, committed Christian, and gifted communicator. I consider it a privilege to recommend him and his resources to anyone who believes change is inevitable.

In fact, attendees told me it was one of the best conferences that we have ever had, and they thought your keynote presentation set the stage for a great conference. Our student evaluations of Dan's live presentation of "Is Your Work Your Calling?" were very positive! Dan's idea that making careers choices is a process that one develops over time is a great fit for Sewanee students. His message reinforces the liberal arts model of encouraging lifelong learning and improvement.
