Richard Schelp is the Managing Partner and Co-Owner of Executive Speakers Bureau. Richard has been with Executive Speakers Bureau for nearly 11 years, and during that period of time he has helped lead the organization to an unprecedented level of growth. Known as a true expert in the industry, speakers and organizations from all over the world contact Richard for his insight on future trends and directions. In addition, Richard handles some of the bureau's largest and most significant accounts, including all of the state hospital associations, State Farm Insurance, American Rental Association, Chase Bank, Boston Scientific Corporation, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Allscripts, and American Heart Association.

Prior to joining Executive Speakers Bureau, Richard was in sales and sales management with a few top technology companies including IBM and AT&T. During his tenure with those organizations Richard received a number of awards for his sales performance.

Richard has lived in the state of Tennessee for most of his life, and has a BS in Business from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the University of Memphis. He is married to his lovely wife Angela and has four wonderful children. When Richard is not working, he enjoys sports, has been a coach for many of his children's teams, and participates in international missions with his church.

 

Angela Schelp is the Founder and Co-Owner of Executive Speakers Bureau. With 18 years in the meeting and events industry, Angela has extensive experience in guiding her clients to speakers who will make their events memorable. As co-owner, Angela also has a wide array of responsibilities in operating the business. From searching out the next great speaker to keeping ESB financially sound, she must continually stay focused on the business and trends of the industry. Prior to ESB, Angela worked for IBM in marketing and sales, where she received the foundation for outstanding customer service, quick response times, and highly ethical behavior. These traits have helped Angela build a loyal following of clients, many of whom she considers close friends.

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Angela lives in the small suburb of Germantown. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Marketing. She is married with 4 wonderful children, 2 dogs and a cat. When not at work, you can find Angela antiquing, biking or kayaking. Known among her friends as an extraordinary hostess, whipping up dinner parties that are out of this world is another one of her favorite hobbies!

 

Jenny Foreman, Vice President at ESB, has spent the last 12 years writing contracts, assisting clients and speakers with event coordination, implementing marketing strategies and managing the office. Jenny's previous experience was in sales as a consultant for a leading textbook publishing company where she learned the value of exceptional customer service. Having graduated from TCU, Jenny enjoys college sports and supports the purple horned frog, as well as the TN Volunteers, where her tuition dollars now flow. A highly organized, type A personality who loves to multi-task, Jenny also uses these skills at home where she has four busy children, a husband and too many dogs. A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jenny heads to the mountains to hike, be on the lake and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors every chance she gets. Her favorite way to unwind is to curl up by the fire with a good book and a glass of wine. Jenny loves to travel, is the queen of practical jokes, and enjoys time spent with her family.

 

Pam Coleman, Now in her 12th year with ESB, Pam is committed to connecting her clients with speakers who will make a real and lasting impact. Many years of experience at IBM gave her a solid understanding of how to manage the critical needs of her clients. She works diligently with the rest of the ESB team to build solid, long-term partnerships with integrity and honesty. Pam loves the challenges each day brings and all of the fascinating people, both clients and speakers, who she has the opportunity to meet.

The daughter of a college football coach, Pam has lived all over the eastern U.S., but proudly calls Tennessee home, where she lives with her husband and three children. When she is not at work, Pam enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities, most recently a 2-day, 120 mile bike ride through the rolling hills of middle TN. She also enjoys experimenting with new recipes and whatever happens to grow in her garden, and volunteering at church and school. A graduate of Clemson University with degrees in French and Economics, Pam is a loyal Tiger fan!

 

Jo Lewis is in her 5th year with Executive Speakers Bureau. In her capacity as Event Coordinator she writes contracts and assists clients and speakers with the logistical details pertaining to their events. Her background as a sales consultant and trainer for McGraw Hill Educational Publishing and Pearson Learning Group gives her an inside view of professional speaking.

Born and raised in the Ozarks, Jo loves the outdoors and grew up fishing, camping, riding horses and working with her father, a veterinarian. She loved to help him with everything from delivering calves to performing surgeries. She has a degree from Missouri State University in Elementary Education and a Masters degree from the University of Missouri in Reading Education. She spent 25 years as an educator before coming to ESB.

Jo and her husband are enjoying being empty nesters. They have two grown children but don't get to see them often enough. Jo enjoys traveling, entertaining, reading, cooking, skiing, working out and riding her motorcycle.

 

Scott Myler is the newest account executive at Executive Speakers Bureau. Though new to our organization, Scott has nearly eight years in the speaking industry. He understands how important it is to supply his clients with world-class service and speakers that are the absolute perfect match for their needs.

Scott understands how important relationships are and will do everything he can to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for with all of your future events.

Life is a never-ending adventure. Scott is a husband, the proud father of 3 daughters and 2 sons, and the “young” grandfather of 4, with 2 more on the way.
Outside of work, Scott loves to invent things, sing and play guitar. He is also an avid photographer and loves the ability to stop time, for a moment and create memories that will last forever.
Born and raised in Southern California, Scott now calls Utah home.

Support Staff

 

Kelly Shennett is new to the Executive Speakers Bureau team and is our newest Events Coordinator. Previous to taking on the role of Events Coordinator, Kelly took on the arduous task of database administrator, updating Speaker Profiles on our corporate website. Before coming onboard at Executive Speakers, Kelly spent her days homeschooling her two daughters, now age 15 and in public school. She has a degree in Communications from Temple University and spent several years in advertising before staying home with her children. Kelly has remained true to her communications calling by working with those who speak English as a Second Language, assisting them with proper pronunciation and encouraging them to thrive here in the United States. Working with people is her passion and where she finds her greatest satisfaction.

Kelly likes sports, loves her children, gets a kick out of her pets, and believes she might have the best husband in the world. Ultimately though, her passion is Jesus Christ as He is the center of her life. She looks forward to serving at Executive Speakers Bureau for years to come.

 

Charles Lynch was born and raised in Memphis and has a dream of innovating the digital world. Charles currently attends Christian Brothers University and is working on finishing his degree in Engineering Management. Charles is the Information Systems Manager for Executive Speakers Bureau and heads the IT side of the company. The creatively designed rotating banners on the Executive Speakers’ website, is but one of his many responsibilities.

While handling all areas of technology for the bureau, Charles also makes time to cheer for the Memphis Grizzlies and the Memphis Tigers as he is an avid fan!

 

Poornima Sunkara is an Information Technology Consultant with over 12 years of experience, currently on staff at Executive Speakers Bureau.
Her expertise ranges from user experience, user interface, data analysis, business analysis, requirements analysis, application development, to organic search engine optimization, link building, Search engine marketing, Landing Page Optimization and Google AdWords.

Poornima has previously worked at Archer-Malmo, Tek Systems, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the National Civil Rights Museum. One of the many hats Poornima wears is the Managing Partner at ebiz solutions.
She enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her two boys.

 

Alex Suddoth is a native Memphian with a passion for computers and technology. He is currently a student at the University of Memphis studying MIS and Project Management. Alex works diligently updating our website and assisting with IT duties. With a very creative side, he is constantly coming up with new ideas and ways to improve processes. When not at work or school, Alex enjoys music, piano, video games, exercise and hanging out with family and friends.

 

Liz Jostes is our Social Media Consultant, Marketer and Blogger. She currently lives in Memphis, TN. Liz is the co-owner of Eli | Rose Social Media, a social media marketing consultancy dedicated to helping small businesses, and writes a personal blog at a Belle, a Bean & a Chicago dog.

After graduating with her B.S. in Marketing from Bradley University, she worked as a project manager and analyst for marketing firms. Combining her education, and business and consumer behavior knowledge, with her social media experience has allowed her to work helping businesses to understand and utilize social media marketing.

 

Sophie has been on staff at Executive Speakers Bureau for the past 12 years. An integral part of office morale, Sophie's responsibilities include greeting office visitors with passion, alerting the staff on impending lunch breaks and perching on our desks on a rotational basis to ensure work compliance. The highlight of Sophie's day is the regular FedEx delivery where she has earned numerous bones from our representative. Uninterested in chasing cats in retirement, Sophie remains dedicated and loyal to Executive Speakers Bureau.
